Recorded in late 2019/Early 2020, Push Start to Stop is probably one of my favorite projects I’ve done to date. This was the first time I was really going for it and trying to explore everything i’ve been given. Written sometime last year and the first 2 months of this year, I really wanted to release this album sooner but then Covid-19 happened and the world flipped upside down. So, I kept working on other projects and kept revisiting some of these songs for their harsher noise stuff. I uploaded the first couple songs that I wrote for the project onto Bandcamp and Soundcloud. If you heard them, you’ll notice
they might be a bit different.They are songs that blend electronic and acoustic instruments with energy, jittery notes, and interesting peaks. Some of these songs were written
before All Untitled Everything and most of them were written during and after that period. These songs were inspired by bands like Fugazi, Radiohead, Crumb, Foxing, Blink-182 and Slaughter Beach, Dog. I’m not sure if it bled through or not but it’s how it goes. I also did not make all of the drums on this album, which maybe one day i’ll go back to. A lot of the drums I did make were recorded from my Volca Sample. In addition, I used guitars, drums, Drones, synth and sequencers all recorded through a direct USB cable with no mixing controls. Not bad! It was a lot of fun making these songs and I hope you enjoy them too.
