I find myself brainstorming a lot. Writing songs for other projects that end up sounding like songs that don't belong in that specific project. One thing I started writing accidentally was songs I felt belonged in 90s video games. I started to lean into that sound and the result is right here. Featuring 5 of the finest nonvideo game songs there is to offer. I believe the goal of City Break Dancer Man is to blend guitars and synths to make something whimsical but also deeply motivating when listening. There is also a taste of reggae and ska in a few of these songs that showcase the rhythm section. I’m very inspired by Drum & Bass style songs and I strive to be a tighter bass player as well as create captivating drum parts. All of these songs collectively embody a new genre and style for me and I plan on exploring this project further in the future. I have a few other songs written that will probably pop up in the future but for now, enjoy City Break Dancer Man.
